Sam’s Club recently donated $10,000 to The Salvation Army’s Cedar Crest Community Center, located in Oak Cliff just south of downtown Dallas.  Former Dallas Cowboys great Charles Haley joined Sgt Rodney Hinkle in representing The Salvation Army at the check presentation.  Haley is a member of the volunteer advisory council at the center.  He is the only person in the world to have won five Super Bowl rings.

“Sam’s Club has always given back to the community,” says Darryl Duncan, Sam’s Club District Manager. “Now that I’ve had the chance to work closely with The Salvation Army it has made the need in the community even more evident to me.  I hope Sam’s Club can continue supporting The Salvation Army well into the future.”
