Dallas Cowboys Team up with The Salvation Army Waco for West, TX

Just yesterday, The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Dallas Cowboy Terrance Williams, and Rowdy the Dallas mascot teamed up with The Salvation Army of Waco and CenTex Pee Wee Football League at Baylor University to assist with a free one-day football clinic for youth affected by the tragedy in West, TX.

CBS 11 to put on a 2.5 hour Telethon for West, Texas

This afternoon and tonight, CBS-11, our disaster services partner, will be putting on a 2.5 hour mini-telethon to raise funds for the Army’s response to the West, Texas Explosion. The mini-telethon will be from 4pm to 6:30pm CST. Staff from DFWMC and volunteers from Albertson’s and possibly the Dallas Cowboys will be staffing the phone bank.

All funds raised will be channeled through our state office (DHQ) and distributed to meet needs in West.
