Shelter for Men

Dave Coy Men’s Shelter provides emergency shelter and transitional housing opportunities for up to 131 men experiencing chronic homelessness and/or lack a stable housing environment. Participants receive three meals daily and work with a case manager to identify and coordinate available educational and career development opportunities and other resources to facilitate greater independence and self-sufficiency. The facility is firearm, alcohol, smoke, and drug-free.

Types of stays:

Night by Night – Dorm style setting. Stay the first fourteen consecutive nights free. Pay $12.50 per night after. Payable by money order only no checks or cash.

Work Program – If you are a full-time employee show proof of employment and pay stub for the past 30 days, Valid photo ID required. Fees apply.

(* Workers Program is a two-year transitional housing program).

SSI Program – To qualify, show proof of a recent awards letter, meet Fee requirements, and a valid photo ID. Call for more information. (* SSI is a two-year transitional housing program).

Eligibility:

  • Men 18 years and older
  • English, Spanish
  • Application Process: In person or by phone to receive services.
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Program Fees: Fees may apply; call for information
  • Documents Required: Valid photo identification, verification of employment (if employed), completed an intake application at the front registration desk, breathalyzer administered upon entry, and personal bags check. call for more information.
