San Antonio, TX – Local families of about 6,000 children will receive help from The Salvation Army to make their children’s Christmas wishes come true.  Thursday morning, families will begin to arrive at the Angel Tree Toy Shop, one at a time, to pick up the boxes of toys and clothes that have been generously provided by the San Antonio area community and The Salvation Army.

Hundreds of hours of planning and effort will result in the distribution of thousands of gifts over a two-day period.  Volunteers will lend a hand during these days to ensure no family member is forgotten and that all will receive a gift.  Distribution continues Friday and Saturday.
